A fascinating body of work, consisting of projections on iconic buildings around the world since 1996. More pics…
Her work pulls ideas from various written sources (ranging classic literature to government documents), both playing off the context of the building and/or the privacy of the text itself. The mix often produces beautiful lines that photograph really well. Some of the images even appear as if they were digitally composed.

Some excellent work from the London-based designer, specializing in book covers. This one caught my eye a few weeks ago, and after contacting him I was able to get some of his latest to share (see below).
He’s been designing since 1998; first at Bloomsbury Publishing, later at Penguin, and currently freelances out of a shared studio with a ping pong table in North London. Sounds good to me! Check out his site for more.

Omar Rodriguez-Lopez from Mars Volta has released a new movie at International Film Festival Rotterdam.
“The Sentimental Engine Slayer tells the compelling, confounding tale of the overdue coming of age of a twenty-something misfit named Barlam. Barlam’s awkward transition from boy to man is as much the story of struggling to find one’s essence in a world of stereotypes as it is an indictment of the distorted reality of family life in the disengaged 21st century…” (IMDb). You can see the trailer and more of his work here.
Haven’t seen it yet, but looking forward to.
